About Emma
Emma Hartman became a physician assistant because she was interested in many different areas of medicine ranging from surgery to neonatology. She loves that she gets to help patients navigate the entire surgical process– from their initial consultation, to scrubbing into the operating room, to following through with their post-operative recovery. Her favorite part about plastics has been helping people feel confident with their bodies again and the wide array of procedures that help her team accomplish that.
When she is not caring for patients, Emma enjoys spending time with her husband and two wild and crazy toddler boys exploring Charlottesville. She spends her free time reading, hiking and trying out new breweries and wineries around the area.
