Neurotoxin injections help relax wrinkles caused by facial movement
The number one minimally invasive cosmetic procedure performed last year was an injection of neurotoxin. These medications are used to relax the wrinkles caused by facial movement, including glabellar lines (vertical wrinkles between the eyebrows), horizontal forehead lines, and skin wrinkles at the out edges of the eye referred to as “crow’s feet.” By selectively weakening the proper muscles, providers can eliminate the wrinkles without disturbing normal function.
