About Dr. Chance

Dr. Chance’s practice is focused on facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and functional nasal surgery. Her goal is to achieve excellent surgical outcomes with the least invasive techniques – and to help you through every step with her compassion and expertise.

Dr. Chance pursued her undergraduate education at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002. She then attended Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where she received her Doctorate of Medicine with Distinction in 2006 and was awarded membership to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society. She completed her residency training in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Virginia. During her residency, she pursued research interests in tissue engineering for facial reconstruction, and was awarded the prestigious Leslie Bernstein Research Grant through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery to fund further studies on dermal tissue nanomatrices.

She was then selected for the highly competitive fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami. During her fellowship, she developed a refined appreciation for the subtleties in aesthetic facial structure and proportion, and she perfected her surgical skills in cosmetic surgical procedures such as rhinoplasty, facelifts, blepharoplasty, chemical peels, facial rejuvenation and skin cancer reconstruction.

Dr. Chance is board-certified in facial plastic surgery and head and neck surgery.
